Welcome to the website of the Park Ridge Fire Department, in Park Ridge, Illinois. I hope you take this opportunity to learn as much as possible about our Department, its people, and our operation. We certainly take great pride in our profession and the way we go about our duties.

From an operational perspective, we are available 24 hours per day, 365 days a year with a team of dedicated professionals who are ready to respond to your call for help. The Park Ridge Fire Department, an ISO Class 2 agency, provides all-hazard services which include: Fire Suppression and Emergency Medical Services (EMS), as well as four (4) specialized response teams: the Dive Rescue Team, Fire/Arson Investigations Team, Hazardous Materials Response Team, and the Technical Rescue Team. In addition to these core services, the Department also provides comprehensive fire prevention, public education, and emergency preparedness services to the community.

I encourage you to utilize or participate in the various programs offered by our Department including; CPR and AED training, block parties, station tours and fire extinguisher training. All of these programs offer the opportunity for residents and businesses to connect with our Fire Department.

Our mission is to prepare for and respond to emergencies in order to protect lives and property and limit the degree of human suffering. We follow through on our mission every day, to the best of our abilities.
