Facilities
The Park Ridge Fire Department facilities currently consist of two strategically located fire stations and one separate administrative office building. Minor calls are dispatched to either the North Station (Station 36) or the South Station (Station 35) determined by the location of the call as the town is divided by railroad tracks. For more serious calls, both stations will be dispatched.
Station 35, located at 901 West Devon Avenue is home to the Fire Prevention Bureau office, Plan Review office, Lt's office and quarters, the Public Education office and the Records office. Apparatus housed at this station include: Engine 35, Reserve Engine 35, Ambulance 35, Rescue Squad 35 and the Dive Rescue Boat.

Station 36, located at 1000 N. Greenwood Avenue is home to the Battalion Chief's office and quarters, a Lt's office and quarters, the Training Room/Emergency Operations Center, drill tower, the children's fire safety house which is equipped with a built-in smoke machine, and the sprinkler demonstration room. Apparatus housed at this station include: Battalion 35, Engine 36, Truck 36, Ambulance 36, Reserve Ambulance 36 and the Utility 36.

Both stations boast fully equipped kitchens, locker rooms with private baths and showers, and sleeping quarters with cubicles for privacy. Each station houses fully equipped exercise and tool rooms. Both apparatus bays have five overhead doors and are equipped with exhaust hoses that forcibly remove diesel fumes from the building to the outside.
The Administration building is located at 901 West Devon Avenue and is directly adjacent to Station 35. In this building you will find the offices for the Chief, the Deputy Chief, the Training Officer and the Administrative Assistant. The building also houses a large conference room, fully equipped kitchen and full basement along with a two car garage for storage.
