Public Education
The Public Education department offers a number of public education programs incorporating fire prevention and safety issues. Training is offered to the public to enlist the cooperation of the citizens in the community to follow good fire and life safety practices. They include school fire safety programs, station tours, the use of our Children's Fire Safety House, CPR & First Aid classes, block parties, special events, programs for seniors, fire extinguisher training and children's car seat inspection and installation.
